If the next French President is Marine Le Pen, the permanent members of the "United Nations Security Council" will be: Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, Theresa May, Xi Jinping and her. It is not easy for me to name somebody equally or more dangerous to world peace outside this group. Even if she looses, I am pretty concerned about this group of people that ostensibly are given the task to keep the world save.
All of them share different degrees of nationalist, xenophobic, anti-left, anti-feminist and anti-LGBT views. They also are not showing any form of empathy towards others, they all are at least unfriendly to the press and freedom of speech and they all want to make their specific country "great again". Also, the five countries that make up the permanent members of the Security Council accidentaly are where the largest oil companies are coming from.
In short, I think its probably fair to say, that a group of radical psychopaths (*) are handed the responsibility to keep the world from going to war, or to decide where going to war is deemed necessary. Is there anybody else out there who also thinks that this is not such a great Idea?
